Hello, I am running Mac OS X 10.6.6 when I installed Growl 1.2.1, notifications only showed up after I turned it off and on again or dis- and enabled the programms in the system preferencess. Now, after I uninstalled Growl, I installed dropbox which came with the old 1.2 version of Growl, everything works fine. It asked me to upgrade to 1.2.1 but when I tried this I had the possibility to choose the destination, either the "…Home folder's Library, or in the Library at the root level of [my] hard disk"… I cancelled the Installation, because I did not know where to install and now, I checked it several times, the option appears only sometimes. The installer can't be corrupt, bacause I downloaded it three times. It is said in the FAQs that this option was removed from newer versions but it still had this option and it was definetely the installer for 1.2.1. I also installed a version of the Logitech Control Center, but a newer version. It's version 3.3.0.
