If GrowlMail isn't installed, then Mail is not complaining about it.

Conversely, if Mail is complaining that you have an incompatible version of 
GrowlMail installed, then you must have GrowlMail installed.

This is where our Installer package installs it:

        Your Home folder
                Library
                        Mail
                                Bundles

Mail is supposed to move GrowlMail and any other incompatible bundles to 
Bundles (Disabled) in the same folder as Bundles, but we've heard of this not 
working, so it may be in either place.

It's easier to just uninstall it, though. Clearly you do have it installed, or 
Mail wouldn't be complaining that you have an incompatible version installed.
