I've run into a really strange problem that just started happening
with hardwaregrowler. I haven't updated anything or made any changes
to my growl settingsl (I'm using the latest version of growl and
hardwaregrowler). However, my hardwaregrowler is showing duplicate
popups for some system changes. E.g. when I eject a drive, hardware
growler puts up two identical notification windows in a row which
state that the drive has been ejected. However, doing things like
connecting to a network or shutting off airport doesn't produce the
duplicate popup issue. I get one single popup for these. Since it
seems to only happen with disk drives, I'm kind of confused. If I quit
hardwaregrowler, growl still displays notification for drive eject/
mounts. But there is only one popup, which leads me to believe that I
have somehow set growl to notify me of disk mount/ejects in addition
to hardwaregrowler notificaitons. How would I disable this?
