I am really grateful for the inclusion of the power monitoring scripts in HardwareGrowler as I use a MacBook and sometimes the power chord pops out. Now of course the first thing I'd notice is that the screen would dim a little, but if it happens without that visual cue then there is the sound effect, so the two combined save me from ignorance.
However I would like to know if its possible to change the script within HG so that the "Switched to Battery Power" option works ever so differently: I would like the notification to disappear when the power is reconnected and this to be handled by the application itself. Right now it either remains on screen indefinitely or disappears an I think while the power chord is absent the notification should show, but then disappear when the power is reintroduced. The other thing is that I think the battery icon is a little out of date, it shows also a half full battery metre and this is quite alarming until you realise its just for symbolism. So I am interested on peoples thoughts about the following, if you can imagine a similar style but in a battery form and with different colours: http://cl.ly/2K3O1p3I291C0m391j41 Thoughts would be great, thanks! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Growl Discuss" group.
