I have Skype 5.3.0.1074 and it shows up in the list

I also use Opera but that should not matter for why Skype does not show in
the Growl application list

I think the Growl team might know I have seen a few others with some apps
not showing in growl app list

Why Open the Web?

Despite the connecting purpose of the Web, it is not entirely open to all of

its users. When used correctly, HTML documents can be displayed across
platforms and devices. However, many devices are excluded access to Web
content.
