This is a problem not in Growl, but in many of the applications that support 
Growl—many of them are not compatible with Growl 1.3. Those applications' 
developers, including Mozilla, need to update the Growl framework they use to 
be compatible.

Mozilla are already aware of the problem; if you use any other applications 
that support Growl, you should contact their developers as well.
