I have attached what I am talking about. On the left next to the calendar, you can see the number 10, which represent the number of unread/upcoming events. When you click it, those 10 unread/upcoming events show in the menu. I think it would be useful to have something similar for Growl (maybe not through text but something graphically instead).
When I click growl, I see the most recent notifications, but I think it would be better to display number of unread on the outside instead of having the rollup notification.
