Hey guys, Now that I have Growl working for Mail (nothing else yet but as I said, I'm sure that will be fixed when apps update their framework and I'm not in a rush), I have a question:
Individual notifications are fine, but is there a way to maybe just have a sticky rollup and leave out the individual notifications? Also, I just want to say that after reading the boards, a ton of people appear to have the same problem: no notifications. The reason, I found out (as mentioned above) is that other apps haven't updated the framework yet. That will come in time, so I suppose we all have to be patient. Growl was only $2 after all, and I feel like a curmudgeon for growling (hehe) about it when it isn't the fault of the devs. However, I think it would be a good idea for the devs to perhaps post something clearly about this on their web site, as well as post clearly how to add Mail (and perhaps iTunes) notifications as well. It took some hunting in the boards for me to find out about this and I'm definitely a technical person. Maybe some sort of Newbie guide on the site might be a good idea? Just a little suggestion. :) Thanks for the work so far. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Growl Discuss" group.
