Growl version: 1.3.1
OS X version: 10.7.2
Safari version: 5.1.1
Display style: Bubbles

After updating to 1.3.1, I've noticed that after a varying period of
time, Growl becomes a CPU hog. And it's not due to lots of
notifications. I honestly wouldn't have noticed if the fan on my
laptop hadn't revved up to over 4000 RPM which is unusual for my usual
usage.

It doesn't seem to be tied to my usage as it has happened when my
laptop is idle for a while but also while I'm using it. Even if I keep
Growl paused, it happens.

I checked your forums and FAQs as suggested and didn't see anything
about CPU usage so I'm posting it here.

I have a screenshot of my Activity Monitor and Growl History available
for your reference. I don't see a way to attach things to my post so
I'll post links to the files here shortly.

The screenshot show shows Growl using more CPU time that my virus app
during a virus scan. Yet my Growl history shows I haven't received any
notifications in the previous 4 hours. Thanks for your time.
