I'm with fdm225...

As any developer moves to the Mac App Store, their software will only
be on my systems until it no longer functions. Then I will find a
replacement available directly from a different developer - shareware
or fixed price, as they choose.

Security on my systems is not an issue, and I have no use for
"sandboxed" programs. This kind of crap killed the ability to use
Adobe pre-press software to create files for print publication,
necessary since the native OS X Postscript files are deficient. Here's
another chunk of Mac professionals screwed over by Apple and looking
to move to PCs to do their creative work - once the province of Macs,
but no longer valued enough by Apple to consider their requirements.
