Just for safety sake, I've sent a second patch of files to you. For me, when Growl eats CPU for breakfast I click on the menu bar icon and it crashes.
So I'm including an archive with a screenshot of Activity Monitor showing Growl is hungry, the latest crash log and CPU sample.
