Upgraded to Lion last week. Upgraded Growl to 1.3.1. No notifications. Uninstalled, download from AppStore again, Installed, no notifications, deleted plist. Still no notifications. There is a history of 1Password backup and MacUpdate Desktop running installer, but no notifications. AlarmClock Pro announces at every alarm that Growl Notifications can’t be made, and that perhaps Growl is not installed.
