Download and install Growl Version Detective. After you install and run it replace the framework for the applications listed that don't work with the new version. Then they should start working. I have one password working fine it alerts me to when the password database is backed-up etc. I don't use alarm clock pro. You should close the programs you are changing the framework for before the change is made. Also applications from the app store lock the framework then only changing it manually will work.
