I don't think that's related to the applications which are listed. I do think we need your crash log though, and a sample of when that happens.
Does it happen often? Are there any steps outside of clicking the Growl icon that make it happen? We have the Growl icon in multiple places, where are you clicking it? Regarding attaching, apparently you cannot do it from the web. Do you have a dropbox share or something else where you can post things?
