Ya that's fine, we were given the icon under the BSD 3 clause license by Iiro.
http://growl.info/images/growlicons/ has different size icons, that should save you a bit of work from having to rip it out of the icns. If you have a linkshare account go ahead and point to our app store page so that you can get some additional revenue from linking to Growl. Just make sure you say "Growl in the app store" or something to that affect.
