I'm not sure that it matters so much as to which vm software, just which os so it's good to know that. I'll be trying this with both GfW and Snarl. I'd been meaning to set this up, just other things had gotten in the way time wise.
If there are any logs, they'll show up in Console (in /Applications/Utilities).
