This is a known fault in Growl.app 1.3.x, it is expecting a password
hash field even without a password set, while Windows sends no
password hash if there is no password. This has been remedied in the
dev repo, but wont make it in till 1.4 (and no, no set date on that
yet). The simple solution is to set a password on both ends.
