You recall wrong.

I get the same issue.  The Growl Welcome screen is ALWAYS displayed
every time I restart.  Very Annoying.

I looked very, very carefully, and there are absolutely no check boxes
nor is there any text anywhere that states "don't show again".

I am also running Lion 10.7.2

Can somebody please fix this.
