So there are multiple ways to find out what changed between versions: 1) The version changes page. Apologies for not updating this for 1.3.3, but 1.3.2 and below on here:
http://growl.info/documentation/version_history.php 2) The version history on the app store listing. This will be for the current version from the previous version, since this space has a limited amount of characters. 3) http://code.google.com/p/growl/wiki/RoadMap will list versions. http://code.google.com/p/growl/wiki/PreviousReleases will list older versions. You can click the "all" on each of these items in order to easily see what was assigned to a ticket. 4) The code itself is available and you can look at the version history. Here is the link for the 1.3.3 version tag - http://code.google.com/p/growl/source/list?name=Growl.app+1.3.3 Regarding your claim of being pushy, the link we have on every page of our website from the button at the top of our website is here: http://growl.info/growlupdateavailable It includes information on not only 1.3.x, but also other versions of Growl, how to disable the update checker, etc etc. I specifically wrote this page so that if someone is interested in finding out about Growl in the app store that they could, but tried to not be pushy about it. Growl 1.3.3 removes the update checker altogether. The update checker should only be running once a day, not every 15 minutes. That's likely an indication that you had more than one version of Growl installed. It's not a way to force people into buying Growl, it's simply something to tell people they have an older version of Growl installed and they can make a choice about what they want to do. -- Chris Forsythe On Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 10:52 AM, Jay wrote: > I have been a long time user of Growl, and for a long time I have been > completely happy with this product.
