@Chas4 - Did you follow my instructions changing permissions on growl.app then changing them back when your done? Or did you simply repair everything, reset launch services, and then toggled On/Off? I'd like to know so I can remove my change permissions fix, if it's really just a matter of once repairing/reseting toggling on and off to register the daemon... Thanks. Glad you got it working too.
