I've used hardware growler before but i'm finding that when i use it with my MBP Retina with a normal (65W not 85W) power supply it keeps annoying me every minute or two telling me how much charging time is left and what not. I ended up turning it off. The MBP seems happy enough with the charger, just keeps plugging away with no change to the status icon on the menu bar. Perhaps it's a little oversensitive?
