Same full speed fan problem over here, BUT: Using atMonitor app it shows me very high fps rate every time the animated menu bar icon signalizes new rollup entries. As i open rollup and clear the list fps drops to nearly nothing, system cools down, fan stops... stupid work around so far: Deactivate Rollup :-( Best solution I guess: Kill the animated icon and replace it with a colored or badged one to signalize new rollup entries.
Is there any solution for this animated icon without waiting for an update?
