Hi,

Today I tried to upgrade my installed Growl 1.2.2 to version 2.0.1 from the
App store. I didn't uninstall first, but just bought the new version from
the App store. I got a warning saying did I want to upgrade it and I said
yes. So far so good.

The App Store says it's installed. But when I go to the Pref Pane, Growl
says it can't start. When I look at the About tab, I find this is still the
pref pane for 1.2.2. If I try and uninstall, I now get a message saying
that the "security preferences allow installation of only apps from the Mac
App Store and identified developers".

Oddly though, Growl does seem to be running! I've just had a notification
through Postbox that seemed to go via the Notification Centre and then a
notification from Skype using the old Smoke theme.

How can I sort this out?

Thanks
