You'll want to do the following in order: kill GrowlHelperApp via Activity Monitor open System Preferences right click on the Growl entry choose remove "Growl" Preference Pane launch MacAppStore.app click the purchases tab click the install button next to Growl open /Applications locate Growl.app launch it
