Hello, so, it is up to applications to register with us. Many app's do this at launch, some won't do it unless they are configured to use Growl. For starters, here is a list of several popular applications: http://growl.info/documentation/appconfigs/ and how to ensure they are set to use and talk to Growl. If you have other apps that you can't figure out how to get to work with Growl, let us know, and we will try to help you if we can.
