I am having the same problem and I have veed that I have uninstalled all previous versions of Growl. Not only is my version of growl up-to-date (version 2.0.1), and even though the app store wants to push an update to the same version, if I try to allow the update, an error occurs and the update/installation fails. I am running Mac OS 10.8.3.
Any help with this would be appreciated.
