This code <https://gist.github.com/Justasic/5454695> patches Growl 2.0.1 when compiling in Xcode 4.6.3 under OS X 10.8.4. Only caveat, I had to manually add /Applications/Growl.app/Contents/Library/LoginItems/GrowlLauncher.app/ to Login Items.
