I restored that folder and I now see the registration in Growl prefs but 
Tor Browser doesn't use Growl anymore.

I installed this extension 
https://addons.cdn.mozilla.net/_files/11611/growlgntp-1.2.5-fx.xpi but it 
doesn't work. I modified the maxVersion to 30.* of the install.rdf file but 
it still doesn't work.

Any other ideas to get Growl back in FF/TB?
