Changing the instrument type is not something one should do most of the time
and we certainly don’t want it to be something one does by accident. Do you
need help making an instrument parameter file to match your data source?

Dear all,

i think i found a bug in GSASII. I try to make a sequential refinement on up to
300 datasets. And I want all the datasets to have the same sample parameters.
So i set the right sample parameters for the first dataset (which is with
Debye-Scherrer as diffractometer type). Then i press copy->set all->Ok. So it
turns out that everything is copied to the other datasets but not the
Diffractometer type which still reads Bragg-Brentano (which is the default
one). I dont really want to go through 300+ datasets all the time to set it to
the right type. Does anyone else experience this error? I am currently working
on a linux machine, maybe thats the problem. I am thankful for any help or
work-around.

Best regards,
Lukas Grossmann
