"> Probably not a real need to go to a forged piston for 16psi... Besides, when you try and push the 4g93 into high boost, you really need to start looking at lining the cylinders.. There isnt much meat beween the cylinders on the 4g93!"
Are the standard Mitsubishi items capable of holding 16psi?? I mean if I was to replace them with standard Mitsubishi items... Is 16psi considered high boost?? I know its considered high for standard rods, hence me wishing to upgrade those items. I dont want a sub 12 quarter mile or anything like that. All I want to create is a good road car that can be competitive in a motorkhana context, given a good suspension set up. I am running 9-10psi now which is standard on my car. A 6psi hike should make things a lot better. Turbo wise I plan to run a TD05 16g, with this turbo I may only run 15psi due to the difference in air volume compared to the TD04. A VR4 RS intercooler and EVO recirc BOV. This is how I would like my GSR to be, still standard'ish but a little better than when new :) Regards Mimmo ------------------------ Yahoo!
