I run one in my rex and its heaps quieter than the external Bosch 044 that I had in my GSR.
I can only hear the pump when priming before startup... Try isolating the pump from the intank bracket using some rubber. The rex's are held in with a rubber base and the rubber fuel hose.. No metal to metal contact at all. >From: "Ben" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >Subject: [GSR_EVO] Re: Have you quietened down the Walbro Fuel Pump? >Date: Mon, 20 Dec 2004 22:38:38 -0000 > > >Hehehehe....Whinebro. >Its damn noisy, although yeah i just turn up the stereo a bit, only >time it really annoys me is at lights when idling with a indicator >on, the whine goes up, down, up, down in time with the >indicator....is that normal??? :S > > > >--- In [EMAIL PROTECTED], "Luke" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > > I just lived with it.
