Hi People,

Another potential glitch that has arisen in my swap (and I wish
I'd seen this *before* I put the engine in!): when I bolted the power
steering unit (GSR unit) onto the evo2 bracket (which attaches to the
engine) -- the pulleys do not line up. Looking at the original VR4
engine I had in there, the bracket actually sits about 2 cm to the
right... Which I assume will put the pulleys where they should be.

Has anyone else encountered this? I'm assuming the answer is to
take the old bracket off, and replace it on the evo engine to put
everything back in alignment (if it's a direct fit, of course!). Or am I
better off saving my knuckle skin (it'll be a PAIN to get off) and just
source an evo power steering + alternator unit?

Note: I haven't checked the alignment of the alternator on the
evo bracket yet.

Confused? Email me ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) or post here if you need
a better description, though I'm hoping someone who has encountered this
will go "Ah ha! I know exactly what the poor fool is on about!".

Thanks,
Rob.
