Hi
Thanks a lot.
I have two comments:
1. MPICH-G2 is not available at the link given at web page www.niu.edu/mpi.
2. I read that MPICH-G2 can not be integrated with binary
distribution. I have HP UX binary Globus as part of iexpress
distribution. Is there any workaround or I have to build Globus from
the scratch.
Thanks & Regards

should have mentioned ...
the MPICH-G2 web page is www.niu.edu/mpi
there you will find download, build, and test instructions
for MPICH-G2 (even some tests in "Troubleshooting" section
to validate your Globus installation/deployment).

Globus can work with PBS. You will need to read the Globus
pages or contact the Globus folks on how to get that all to work.
Once you have installed Globus and confirmed that it works with
your installation of PBS (you should confirm all that before moving
on to this next step) then you can proceed by acquiring MPICH-G2,
which is an MPI library that integrates Globus and MPI.
Once Globus is properly built and deployed (i.e., stand up Globus
servers, get all security in place, etc.) then building and running
MPICH-G2 is relatively easy. The harder part is building and deploying
Globus. You need to do all that first properly (and confirm that it's
done properly) before moving forward with MPICH-G2.

Hi
Thanks a lot for input. Any pointer for my basic question?
"I wish to test a real world problem as proof of concept using globus and
mpi.
I could not find any input how to integrate Globus, PBS and MPI.
I am working on HP UX , I have installed the distribution provided by
HP.
I will be grateful if some one can give some pointers how to proceed
with.It will be great if some one please provide any link for relevant
documents."

Hi JP,
there exist different "flavours" of PBS. For example PBSPro, Torque and
OpenPBS. Globus can run with Torque which is freely available.
