JP,

you can download MPICH (make sure it's MPICH-1, not MPICH-2) and configure
it "--with-device=globus2". Just search for "MPICH download" in Google.
I'm not sure i can help you with the second issue (i think you will have
to build from scratch, but i'm a noobie). Good luck.
