Hi,

Thanks for the help. It is very much appreciated.

It has been already installed when that output was obtained.

[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]$ globusrun -r grid2 -f a.rsl
globus_gram_client_callback_allow successful
GRAM Job submission failed because globus_xio: globus_l_xio_gsi_wrapped_buffer_to_iovec failed.
GSS Major Status: General failure
globus_gsi_gssapi: internal problem with SSL BIO: SSL_read rc=-1
OpenSSL Error: s3_pkt.c:438: in library: SSL routines, function SSL3_GET_RECORD: bad decompression
 (error code 10)

globus_gram_protocol-7.5.tar.gz has been installed on this submission host (grid1), which reports this error, but not on others such as the GRAM2 service host (grid2) or an Execution host (grid4).

Do I need it on those?

Also, do you want me to test differently? Such as with a different DEBUG level? That is in my following message to Charles, that was also after I installed the globus_gram_protocol-7.5.tar.gz

That seems to contain the same message: (among others)

GRAM Job submission failed because globus_xio: globus_l_xio_gsi_wrapped_buffer_to_iovec failed.
GSS Major Status: General failure
globus_gsi_gssapi: internal problem with SSL BIO: SSL_read rc=-1
OpenSSL Error: s3_pkt.c:438: in library: SSL routines, function SSL3_GET_RECORD: bad decompression
(error code 10)

What else should I see or do? Please advise.

Thanks,
Yoichi

Does it mean maybe I need another decompression library which may be missing?

Thanks,
Yoichi

No. Please install the globus_gssapi_gsi-5.4 advisory from
http://www.globus.org/toolkit/advisories.html
