Hi Muzakkir,

The tutorial was originally written with GT4.0 in mind, and it has not
been updated for GT4.2 (and there are currently no plans to do so; I
have moved on to other work, and don't know when I'll have time to
work on the tutorial again). So, you should expect to run into all
sorts of problems when trying to run the tutorial examples with GT4.2.
Since the tutorial is, essentially, deprecated, I would suggest that
you rely primarily on official GT4.2 documentation when learning how
to write services and, in general, how to use the Globus Toolkit.

Of course, if anyone is interested in updating the tutorial to work
with GT4.2, I will be more than happy to help out.
