*Title: Senior Java Developer (F2F MUST)Location: Monroe MIDuration: 6 months* *We need Senior Java Consutant with 10 years+ experience.* *BASIC FUNCTION: * Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to design, integrate and implement new or existing information systems. Represent Information Technology in major Client strategic initiatives. Maintain and provide expertise across system(s) to support Information Technology and their customers. Key Responsibilities: •Provide technical expertise in the analysis and design of business applications and systems. •Develop business relationships and integrate activities to support business systems and strategic initiatives. •Participate as a core team member on strategic teams that rely on Information Technology. •Provide consulting on future direction of company initiatives as it pertains to business processes and IT systems. •Confer with customers and IT to analyze current (business) operational procedures, identify problems, make recommendations and understand requirements. •Prepare project estimates, detailed program specifications, direct and coordinate development, testing, installation of information systems, and coordinate work efforts across IT areas. •Responsible for developing improvements and innovations to enhance performance. •Review system capabilities, workflow and scheduling limitations to support existing systems. Analyze the impact of new or modified systems on the environment. Make recommendations for environment changes to support new or ongoing systems. •Lead multi-resource and cross-functional projects to successful completion. Create project plans and project schedules per established standards. •Design, code, test, debug, configure, and document programs. Ensure solutions comply with architectural standards and established methodologies that meet Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. •Limited non-operational application administration or configuration as required by the system. •Assist in developing technical and procedural standards in Information Technology. •Continuously strive to improve analytical skills through education. Increase knowledge and competency in multiple Information Technology systems and Client business. •Work individually and in a team environment to accomplish objectives. Apprise the supervisor about progress and complications. •Interface with outside vendors, customers, consultants, business partners and external Client divisions. *MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:* •Must have a minimum of 8+ years of experience with Java. •Minimum 10 years of overall IT applications experience; with 4 - 6 years analyzing, developing, and implementing complex technical solutions. •Recognized leadership skills and expertise in at least one technology domain. •In-depth knowledge of information technologies and methodologies in mainframe and open systems environments. •Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to work well on cross-functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasks. •Ability to solve complex issues and complete projects independently. •Demonstrated understanding of data needs of systems. •Demonstrated understanding of business practices, system and business integration points and interfaces. •Proven ability to lead multi-resource projects, operating as part of a team organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from vision through implementation •Demonstrated ability to follow and adhere to Systems Development Life Cycle Methodology. •Proven analytical and problem-solving skills in a technical environment. •Strong verbal and written communication skills.
