Hi,

As you say there are several different TW task managers , such as
MGTW, d cubed and others. In my view MGTD is the one most most
directly at purely GTD, and it is the best for me. It is also pretty
stable and mature. Many people like dcubed, which is also stable and
mature, but more of a general notes system with a stong element of
GTD, rather than a pure GTD app.

All of these tools are based on TW, and some of them branch off
further. MPTW is based on TW, making it better looking and adding
several enhancements, and MGTD is in turn based on MPTW, I
understand.

I would advise carefully reading the whole GTD page on Wikipedia
before trying to use MGTD (google first hit "GTD"). Then mess with
MGTD while reading the GTD book from the start.

On the other hand, if you just want to organise some notes, you're
better off just using TW (or even MPTW). Use MGTD only for GTD. If
you want to do both, I would recommend keeping your notes tiddlywiki
seperate from your MGTW file.
