I have two daily tasks at work that I track with ticklers. I check
them off when I get them done today and they automatically get
rescheduled for tomorrow. On Friday it get's rescheduled to Saturday.
Since I work a M-F work week, I just bump the item over to Monday. I
also have a monthly checklist that I have to complete and I use
another tickler for that. These ticklers help me make sure to
complete these regularly occurring items that must be accomplished in
order to stay compliant with administrative policies.

I have a project defined called SysAdmin Checklists. I have a
reference item defined under that project where I manually keep a
history of certain parts of the monthly checklist. When these daily
and monthly checklists are completed, an e-mail goes to an archived
mailing list so we have a history of our compliance with the policies
that require the regular reviews.

Nothing fancy, but it does what I need it to do.
