Hi Kasi:

I'm not one of the developers, but I have been using it for a few
years and have made some small customizations. Sorry in advance if I
come across as judgmental about any of your questions.

I don't have too much help on that one. There is a "make action"
button so the extra work is exactly one click.

I pulled out my copy of GTD (the book) and I couldn't find anything
about actions having due dates. I think this is supposed to be dealt
with in your periodic review.

What would you expect the system to do when you've reached a due date?
Change the action's color? I think the whole system is that actions
don't have priority and you should work on any next action that is in
your current list.

It's there. There is a double arrow ">>" next to the project to let
you jump directly there from the action.

For me, I solved this with the Pending Action customization. See more
at < ARRGH, the documentation I wrote for this has been lost in the
docs migration! I'll have to try to track that down with the site

I have made a tag called "Recurring". I added the following lin to the
TitleButtons tiddler to make a cool checkbox for it:
  <span macro="toggleTag Recurring . ."></span>

I added it right after this line: <span macro="multiToggleTag
ProjectStatus longVersion:on"></span>

When the project is complete, I set the project to someday/maybe,
reset the ActionStatus for each action to the appropriate starting
status, and set a tickler to reactivate the project. It would be
great if this were automated, but I'll probably never get around to
coding it.

This doesn't allow for multiple instances of the same project, but I
think that's a feature. If you are not finishing one instance before
starting the next one, you may have bigger problems than mGSD can
solve.

Does that really matter? Did you read the book? GTD is all about the
here and now. You should review all of your projects at your weekly
review and pick the ones that should be active, and make sure they all
have enough Next Actions to get you to the next review. How does a
measurement of the time since your last review help you get things
done?

Let us know how it goes,
Jason
