Your problem is caused by the browser window that doesn't open. Failing to open the browser means that the plugin cannot authenticate itself to RTM. All the other issues are just side effects of the failed authentication.
So, what is your default browser? You can check that by running: xdg-open http://www.rememberthemilk.com in your terminal (that's the exact command that the plugin launches, with a different url). If no browser shows up after a few seconds, you should check that your default browser is correctly set up (how to do that varies between distributions). ps: As a general note, please open a new bug if your issue is not exactly the same (as it's possible for us to merge bugs, but not split them). -- RTM sync issues https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/496346 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Gtg developers, which is a direct subscriber. Status in Getting Things GNOME!: Invalid Bug description: Updated GTG Dec 13, to the latest version released for Ubuntu. RTM plug-in is finally showing up. When I click to sync there is a message saying "Trying to access, please stand by". Sometimes after this box comes up I'm taken to RTM page to give API access to GTG. But even doing so I ALWAYS get a message "Couldn't connect to Remember the Milk". None of my RTM are showing in GTG. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~gtg Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~gtg More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
