For those playing at home, it's this one: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=584402 Maybe re-testing and reopening the bug if it still applies would be useful. I'm not going to blame you for giving up, but patches inside the comments, and no clear test case for the bug means it's very very time-consuming to reproduce let alone fix.
