Quoting Stephane Corbe <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
from ml.softs.gtk-gnutella.devel:
:Finally I found the ICU library (One project of IBM Alphaworks)
:which is very good. We can have it by sources or binary.
:
:The website is http://oss.software.ibm.com/icu/
:
:I have two questions :
:- What do you think about its functionnalities ?
:- What do you think about the license ?
: They claim that it's a X open source license, compatible with the
: GNU GPL license.
The question for me is: is there a Debian package for it? If there
is, chances are that it is really free. And it will become usable.
How portable is the library? Could we embed it in our code in source
form. My concern here is portability.
