Yes, I'm alway running latest CVS, compiled for GTK2.

Hmmm, it doesn't say anything about NTP at all.
Lots of other stuff, warnings about hostiles.txt and such, but not a 
single mention of NTP.

When I check "Host runs NTP" in the settings dialog, it is correctly 
stored in the config_gnet file (host_runs_ntp = TRUE), even after 
leaving the program. But when I then restart the program and terminate 
it again, it's changed in the config file. So when I start GTKG, it 
always assumes FALSE and re-stores this value into the config file.

Maybe it is simply overridden by the ntpd autodetection?
