That's not absolutely clear. What's clear is that I'm sending fewer QHits. So it is also possible that the rate of incoming queries has not changed, but I'm only returning fewer QHits than before due to whatever change in gtkg (for example a stricter keyword matching algorithm). > What are your ultra > peers? LimeWire? Other gtk-gnutella? BearShare? Almost always 2 BearShare + 2 LimeWire. The Bears are always at least Version 4.6, the Limes are always at least Version 4.0. But I think the Bear/Lime guys can change some parameters (such as the outdegree) of already deployed servents, so the version numbers of those servents might not be too important. > What's the size of your QRP table (look into the Config/Upload tab)? Don't forget > the UDP node! The average quotient QHit(TX)/Query(RX) seems to be around 1/50. I think this was once higher, meaning there there were once more Hits per Query. In my initial email, I defined "quality" exactly as "average QHit(TX)/minute per UP connection". This measure has definitely decreased for me, although I'm still sharing the same files. Unfortunately, I cannot tell exactly if the interesting quotient Query(RX)/minute or QHit(TX)/Query(RX) respectively has also changed, because I did't measure it before the change. I now tend to think that Query(RX)/minute hasn't decreased that much, so it would be a problem in gtkg returning too few QHits, but I might be wrong.
