Ok, now the problem is clearer. I reverted to 0.94 for testing purposes, and the result is very obvious. As of version 0.94, the problems I described are not there. So it is definitely a problem in gtkg (not the gnet itself), and it is definitely in the difference between 0.94 and 0.95 beta cvs.
First observation: Query(RX) This has NOT changed. I'm receiving about 3000...4000 Queries per hour with both 0.94 and 0.95beta. So this is not the problem. Second observation: QHit(TX) This HAS dfinitely changed. With 0.95beta, I'm replying fewer Query Hits to the net than I do with 0.94. By far. This is broken. I'm not talking about a little margin that could be due to some QHits being delivered via UDP. I'm talking about a really big impact on my contribution to the net. Besides, I think that after UDP was first introduced in CVS, the problem was not there. It came later. So I don't like to associate the problem with UDP. There must have been some change in the code where QHits are generated in general, regardless of UDP or TCP. Note that my sent QHits are not zero, I am indeed sending some, but only very few. Maybe the matching of keywords against filenames is corrupt? I really hope this can be fixed before 0.95.
