** ERROR **: file glib-missing.c: line 379: assertion failed: (strlen(buf) < FILENAME_MAXBYTES) The filename looked like one of the many foreign-charset filenames I find on gnutella, and was at least 600+ characters long. I'll keep an eye out to see if this issue comes back. Please note that I fixed the fileinfo problem before building a new CVS pull, so it's possible that current CVS may not have this issue at all. > You don't have to play the text adventure. My answers are pretty consistent, and just using a file with settings would be way convenient. > You can probably pass -Dmsgfmt=msgfmt or -Dgmsgfmt=msgfmt or both > so that you don't have to edit the Makefile. > Ok, cool. > > "vmsg.c", line 196: warning: end-of-loop code not reached > > Thanks, should be fixed now. > Even cooler. :) > There have been a few bug fixes that would justify a new release > but there's no plan for a new release at the moment. > Ok. I just want to avoid the whole "running-an-ancient-version-and-getting- nagged-about-it" problem. I guess I'll grab CVS updates a bit more often. Thanks again!
