That's because some ub3rh4x0r abuses the User-Agent field. I guess the conversion should be moved to the core. However, G_FILENAME_ENCODING should really have no effect on that, you should see the same effect with or without the variable. Though, if this variable really has an effect, that would be another bug. -- Christian
