It's not scrambled, it's just updated. Huge values are simply negative values converted to an unsigned 32-bit integer. We could forbid negative values which might fix the problem for you but some people might want the window a bit off-screen. There is a check which ensures that at least some part of the window is still on-screen. It is certainly "unfortunate" if a window manager does not support moving of such a window but still allows it to be placed there. > I got the parameters close to > what I want and then made the file non writable. For what it's worth, I've tried to reproduce the problem with window maker 0.92.0 but it restores the window correctly for me.
