I've been running a git-svn mirror of gtkg for some time now. :It makes marshaling multiple patches so much easier as well.
I also agree. The only problem is that, as of today, I know nothing about git at all. And I have little time to learn it because I want to devote all my free time towards releasing GTKG 0.97 before Christmas. So, until then, I'd like to avoid switching to another source code control. :However there are no reasons why development can't be distributed :between github and sourceforge. Is there a possibility to setup a read-only mirror of SVN on github right now, so that we're not losing anything in case of a Sourceforge glitch? I haven't checked whether Sourceforge supports git. If it does, then we can probably migrate from SVN to git and handle a dual environment as you suggest. I hope I'm not forced to migrate to git before 0.97 is out.
